Three teams from The National Arena Swimming League-London competed in the National Finals in Cardiff on the weekend of 2nd/3rd March 2024.
As winners of the London league in 2023, Chelsea & Westminster competed in the Cup Final, and were very successful, coming fifth in the ten-team gala. They were supported by a small number of spectators, but sporting the club’s colours, including headdresses, they were judged as the most consistent of all the team supporters throughout the gala, and won the best supporters’ prize. Chelsea & Westminster came fourth in the Relay Challenge. The winner of each constituent league swims in the Cup Final, together with the fastest teams nationally, identified through the virtual gala. So, Chelsea & Westminster can be very proud to have swum so well against those top teams.
Camden Swiss Cottage, as the runners-up in the London league 2023, earned their place in the national finals. They competed in the B Final. They were joined by Basildon & Phoenix qualifying for that final through the virtual gala.

Both teams swam really well. Basildon & Phoenix came third in the ten-team gala, and their supporters won the best spectators’ prize.
Camden Swiss Cottage finished in 1st place, and also won the Relay Challenge.
Congratulations to Camden Swiss Cottage – winners of The National Arena Swimming League 23rd B Final.
Athletes from the London league teams also won age-group prizes. Maya Orfanidis from Chelsea & Westminster was the most improved female 11/12yr-old, and Jasmine Hall of Basildon & Phoenix was the most improved in the female 13/14yr-old age-group. Llewellyn Porter from Camden Swiss Cottage was the most improved male/open in the 15/16yr-old age-group. Jasmine Carter from Basildon & Phoenix won the top female swimmer prize.
Well done to all the athletes of the three London league teams!
